Curmel Moton is set to fight in the undercard of Tim Tszyu vs. Keith Thurman on March 30 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, an appreciation post from Moton thanking sparring partners on social media today has created quite a commotion. 

Moton last appeared in the ring against Hunter Turbyfill on 25 November, winning the fight via first-round knockout. It was only his second professional bout that reaffirmed everyone’s belief that he was going to make it big in the scene. So, with his next fight coming up quickly, ‘Big Deal’ decided to head over to The Money Team gym.

Turning to Instagram, the 2-0 boxer shared a picture of himself with three of his sparring partners in the gym. He captioned the post, “16 hard rounds with [these] killas I appreciate the rounds #tmt 3/30 the count down.” Moreover, the Las Vegas resident is a familiar sight at the gym as he trains there under the mentorship of legendary Floyd Mayweather.

After his debut win, ‘Big Deal’ expressed his desire to fight Leigh Wood, someone who is much more experienced than he is. Plus, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions has high hopes for the 17-year-old. In a recent interview, Leonard Ellerbe claimed, “He’s a tremendous young fighter. We’re expecting major, major things of him moving forward. He’ll be very busy this year.” So, when the fans found the post from Moton, the anticipation for his next fight was palpable in the comments.

Fan predicts three wins, three knockouts

As the picture started circulating on the platform, it quickly gained momentum, bringing in hundreds of responses to the post. One user suggested all the hard work in the gym will soon come in handy. The user wrote, “We gonna need some of that dog house work soon, champ!” The user was possibly referring to Moton’s upcoming fight!

Another user asserted that Moton is starting to elevate himself above the people around him. “This young champ is beginning to separate himself from his peers,” the user wrote. 

Someone else expressed their desire to watch Moton’s sparring clip, claiming they are willing to pay money for it. The user wrote, “I’d pay real money to see sparring footage.”

One user came forward with their prediction for the upcoming fight, claiming Moton will secure his third win with another knockout. “3-0 3KO’S loading,” wrote the user.
