Deontay Wilder, the 37-year-old former heavyweight boxing champion, has grabbed the attention of the media once again, albeit for a different reason this time. He was taken into custody on Tuesday morning for carrying a concealed weapon, which has caused quite a stir. Nevertheless, Wilder and his trainer appear unfazed by the legal trouble and continue to exude confidence. Fans of boxing are eagerly awaiting Wilder’s comeback, with talks of a massive fight against Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia spreading like wildfire.

As of now, there hasn’t been any official confirmation about the match, and it’s unclear if Wilder’s recent arrest will affect the ongoing negotiations. Additionally, Andrew Tate, a former kickboxing champion and social media influencer, expressed his support for Wilder’s statement on Twitter following the arrest.

Andrew Tate supports Deontay Wilder’s stance on self-defense

Andrew Tate shared his thoughts on the Deontay Wilder situation via Twitter. He retweeted Wilder’s recent tweet regarding the importance of personal safety. Tate agreed with Wilder’s sentiment and put his own spin on the phrase “Prevention is better than cure”. Instead, he wrote, “Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6 my G”. It appears that Tate is encouraging Wilder to disregard any negative opinions from others about him carrying a firearm in his car.

He retweeted Wilder’s previous tweet in which the boxer made a bold statement.  He showed that he will not budge with his opinion no matter what people say. Deontay Wilder wrote, “I’d rather be safe than sorry. The End”. It seems Wilder seems to be unapologetic and doesn’t see any wrong with his actions. Even his trainer Malik Scott showed his wholehearted support for Wilder. He posted a picture on Instagram of him and Wilder enjoying a feast after Wilder was bailed out.
