Derek Chisora, the Zimbabwean-born British heavyweight, was also present and made sure he popped up in the video at least once. With shades on, the father-son duo grooved to the music playing as their friends joined them in greeting their fans. Many fans seemed to agree that the father-son duo deserved the off time, especially with the year they’ve had.

Boxing and BBQ later reposted the Instagram Live clip, which garnered more than a hundred thousand views with almost a hundred comments. Fans do seem to like Haney Sr’s style. This time, it is no different as fans came out of the woodwork to react to the father-son clip.

Fans dance to the groove

The clip garnered a lot of attention. “Fruits of their labor,” commented one fan, referencing the Haney’s need to cool off, since they’ve had a pretty tough year with rigorous training for the two high-profile bouts.

One fan said, “Tank was fixing them sandwiches off the camera,” taking a dig at Gervonta Davis for rejecting the fight offer with Devin Haney.

One user said, “Bill Haney is an amazing father. I remember when them snowflakes wouldn’t let him in to see Devin fight Kambosas and then he made it there at the last moment. All he wanted to say was ‘I came here for my boy…’ As a son that’s all you wanna hear from your pops,” giving props to Bill Haney for always having his son’s back.

Someone also said, “Somebody tell Devin he don’t have to go everywhere with his daddy,” complaining about the father accompanying his son everywhere.
