It has been over six months since Floyd Mayweather fought his last exhibition in the ring. His last fight was against John Gotti III, the grandson of John Gotti, former head of the Gambino Crime family. When the duo stepped inside the ring, Mayweather completely out-skilled John Gotti III and the latter was infuriated. As a result, the fight eventually ended in chaos.

Anyway, as per the latest updates, Mayweather and Gotti III will have a rematch this February. At this, while fans remain excited about the upcoming fight, Floyd Mayweather just lost $22,000 over a basketball game between the Utah State Aggies and San José State Spartans.

During today’s game between the Utah State Aggies and San José State Spartans, Floyd Mayweather was rooting for the former in the first half. Likewise, he bet  $22,000 on the Utah State Aggies. Therefore, when Mayweather’s favorite took a lead of 8 points in the first half, ‘TBE’ was happy. However, when the 50-0 boxer went to collect a reward of $20,000 as promised, ‘TBE’ was informed that he lost. Hence, he took to Instagram and expressed his frustration.

ESPN’s app showed Utah State being up by 8 points at the half, but when I went to cash my ticket the Sportsbook told me that I lost,” wrote Mayweather. “I’ve known ESPN to have the most official scores. It’s only some pocket change but it’s the principle,” he added. In addition, for proof, Floyd Mayweather shared a screenshot with the Utah State Aggies leading the scoreboard by 8 points.

Anyway, speaking about the final result of the Utah State Aggies vs. San José State Spartans, Utah won the game with a score of 82-61. In the game, Great Osbor scored 30 points to lead the Aggies to victory. Following the game, Osbor told the media, “I’m pretty confident as a player and I felt like my team put me in good positions to be successful tonight.” After this victory, Osbor and his Utah State will visit San Diego State on Saturday.
