Terri Harper, originally, was to defend her title on the Katie Taylor vs. Chantelle Cameron undercard. But the challenger, Cecilia Brækhus, caught the Flu and as a result, the fight couldn’t get materialized. This didn’t stop Harper from indulging in a title defense, as she instantly took on another opponent for herself on the Leigh Wood vs. Mauricio Lara rematch undercard. She’ll be defending her WBA 154 lbs title against Ivana Habazin this Saturday. During the weigh-in, she offered Habazin something unusual, which was later realized to be a light-hearted jab at her previous opponent, Cecilia Brækhus.

Ivana Habazin, the 33-year-old boxer, has already been the two-time challenger at 154lbs and is also the former Welterweight champion. If you recognize this name, then it must be from her bout against Claressa Shields, where she lost after going the distance with her for 10 rounds. Now, the fans are excited to see how she’ll play her cards against Harper in the Lara vs. Wood 2 event.

After her previous fight against the former number one pound-for-pound star Cecilia Brækhus got scrapped right after the weigh-ins, Harper isn’t ready to take any chances. Brækhus was healthy and in great condition when she stood tall on the weighing machine. But then in the morning, she posted a video explaining her condition and how she won’t be able to compete in the undercard fight. This left many fans heartbroken.

So, Harper is treading lightly as she doesn’t want history to repeat itself, and she offered her opponent Lemsip, which is basically the go-to remedy during cold and influenza. So Harper gave it to Habazin, and she took it with a grin on her face, even Hearn was smiling when he was handing back the belt to the Champion.

She even tweeted later, Just in case,” with some pictures of her giving Lemsip to Habazin. She also added “Weigh in 2.0” so as to remind everyone that she already did all of this a week ago, thus poking Cecilia a bit.

Well, this was a light-hearted jab by Harper toward her previous opponent. Also, nobody would want Habazin to catch a Flu as well. Nevertheless, this upcoming fight is definitely going to be an amazing one, and more so on the undercard of one of the most anticipated rematches, Lara vs Wood.
