The undisputed Featherweight title holder Amanda Serrano is finally gearing up for the second bout of the year. Come August 5, and she would defend her title from former champion Heather Hardy at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Interestingly, her fight is one of the co-main events of the much-anticipated boxing match between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz.

Serrano, promoted by Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, fought Hardy back in 2019. The fight at New York’s Madison Square Garden on September 2019, made her WBC, WBO (interim), and (vacant) WBAN Featherweight champion. So early today, she took to her Instagram account and shared the details of the fight. Serrano thanked Hardy for giving her an opportunity in 2019. Hence, according to her, it was her turn to allow Hardy to have a shot at the titles.

‘The Real Deal’ said, “I’M BACK! I am the undisputed featherweight champion because Heather Hardy agreed to fight me in 2019 for her WBO title. That was the first step in my current run at featherweight. It’s only right that I give her the opportunity to earn it back. This will be the first time I get to fight in Texas, and I promise the fans that they will not be disappointed.
