The World Association of Wrestling Academy and Performance Centre in Diamond Road, Norwich, recently hosted a charity boxing match. However, this match was overshadowed by an unfortunate incident. Reports say that a 50-year-old man suddenly died after complaining of uneasiness. Meanwhile, former WWE wrestler Saraya Bevis AKA Paige took to social media to announce that the person who died was her uncle Jules (Julian) Frary.

A series of charity boxing matches were being conducted to help a young girl who was suffering from cancer. During the event, Frary suddenly became unwell. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he could not be saved.

Talking about the incident, a police spokesperson said, “The area has been cordoned off while officers investigate the circumstances of the death.”

They also mentioned that currently the circumstances of death are being treated as unexplained.

Paige opens up about her uncle’s death

Paige, who currently performs for All Elite Wrestling, posted a series of tweets confirming that the person who died was her uncle. She mentioned that he was performing at the event. And that he died in her brother Roy Knight’s arms.

Frary is the brother of the famed British wrestler Patrick Frary, AKA ‘Rowdy’ Ricky Knight. It is also worth mentioning that Knight was also the owner of the World Association of Wrestling promotion, where the event took place.

Roy Knight, on the other hand, mentioned that Frary was a boxer who was a local legend. Moreover, he was nicknamed ‘The Jab Master’ and had over 100 fights under his belt.

Social media users react to Jules Frary’s death

Boxing fans and social media users were distraught at the news of Jules Frary’s death. A lot of them took to social media to share their thoughts.

Many fans offered condolences to Frary and his family. A user named Susan Baker said, “How very sad for his family.”

Another user named Maria Banbury said, “So sad. RIP. I really feel for his family.”

Meanwhile, user Marian Wells mentioned, “This is so terribly sad for all involved in today’s charity event, condolences to his family.”

In the same vein, user Clare Medler also added, “So so sad, thinking of his family and everyone involved at the event.”

On the other hand, user Sue Anne Hall was distraught that he died during a charity boxing match. She said, “What an awful thing to happen when he was doing an amazing thing for a little girl. Rest in peace.”

However, a few users mentioned that Frary’s name should not be revealed. User Linda Jane Barrett said, “Probably not wise to name the poor man in the comments. The wider family may not even know.”

Similarly, user Barry Gitane said, “Please do not name as some family and friends do not know yet-thank you.”

While the incident is extremely saddening. There is no denying that he died doing what he loved most, boxing.
