Ever since his victory against Errol Spence Jr. a couple of months ago, Terence Crawford has been on a roll. His popularity has since skyrocketed without any signs of slowing down. As the year moves towards its end, he is not going to fight anyone for now. However, interestingly, he seems to be branching out into other sports as well. Recently, Crawford shared a picture of himself in a basketball jersey holding an award.

He was on a basketball court and revealed the background of the picture in the caption of the post. He wrote, “And the MVP award goes to who… Nun other than the two time undisputed champ, Terence Bud Crawford!!! I came looking for @gilliedaking and @ericksonhammer but yall ducked reck. I’ll see yall next time”. It appears that the two-time undisputed champion took part in the Watson Charity Game. Prior to the event, a video of him warming up also surfaced on YouTube.

As the post surfaced on social media, it quickly garnered the attention of boxing enthusiasts as they shared their surprise at him playing basketball. One fan questioned, “How they let you win MVP man heard you dropped 43”.

Another fan remarked, “The Bud Crawford Era. For all sports.” The fan proclaimed Crawford’s supremacy in all sports he takes part in. Meanwhile, a fan jokingly remarked, “They probably was scared Bud was gone get to beating ish in there if he didn’t win”.

Someone else complimented the boxer as they wrote, “Way to Keep winning and Staying in shape Great work Champ.” One fan called Crawford, “Bud the Goat fr”. Another fan also joked “Stop ducking Deontay Wilder”.

Overall fans had a myriad of reactions to the post. While some took the chance to make joking remarks, others complimented the fighter. However, did you know that Crawford participated in a high-profile boxing match in 2018?

This is not Crawford’s first venture into the world of basketball. Back in 2018, he put his basketball skills to the test as he took part in the NBA’s All-Star Celebrity Game. The impressive lineup included several other celebrities including Justin Bieber, Micheal B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx, etc.

This appearance took place prior to his bout against Jeff Horn at Madison Square Garden as he tried to become a three-division champion. Interestingly the boxer ended up scoring 9 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 assists. Despite his short stature of 5’8, he managed to pull off an amazing performance and appeared most in shape on his squad as well.
