UFC 286 event just got concluded with Leon Edwards coming forth victorious against Kumaru Usman. Now, this was the third fight in the trilogy. Edwards weathered the storm and won against Usman two times in a row consecutively. Edwards leads the trilogy winning back-to-back in two UFC main cards. The previous one was in the UFC 278 on Aug 20, 2022. In that fight, Edwards won by a KO. Meanwhile, the UFC 286 fight got dragged to the decisions, and Edwards won by a majority decision.

Since the fight was held in the UK, Edwards’ home turf, there were many celebrities from the UK who were seen at the MMA event. Among them, KSI, who is a social media sensation, his brother Deji and the famous Brits Awards winner and British rapper, Aitch, were seen sitting at the cage side. There’s a video floating around the internet where the three men can be seen cheering for the fighters and getting excited by the fierce hand-to-hand combat.

Since KSI’s energy drink brand, Prime, has recently signed a deal with the UFC, the internet celebrity can be seen at UFC fights more often than before. He was also at the UFC 285 with his business partner, Logan Paul, in Australia.

The famous UK rapper, Aitch, made a video of KSI and his brother, Deji, and posted it on his Instagram Story. Later the video was re-uploaded by FightHype on Youtube, where they posted a couple of his stories.

One of them had KSI and his brother cheering for the fighters, at the beginning of the fight while the other one had a reaction from KSI to the announcement of the winner, with the caption, “HEADSHOT DEAD !!!!“.

And he showed excitement for the UFC 286, where he also gave his prediction for this particular fight between Leon Edwards and Kumaru Usman.

So in the interview with the UFC team, KSI was asked a couple of questions. He was asked about his first-ever UFC fight, and he answered by saying it was the fight between Michael Bisping and Dan Anderson. And he even stated that watching their fight made him realize that MMA is way harder and he won’t be dipping his hands in that pool.

Recently, KSI also revealed that he’s open to “spar” with the UFC Champion but “definitely not in MMA“.

Then he was asked about his favorite UFC fighter, and he chose Israel Adesanya. Notably, KSI is a big fan of anime, his favorite being ‘Dragon Ball’, so it does make sense why he’d like Adesanya more. Because most of  Adesanya’s emotes and taunts are inspired by Anime.

Then he was finally asked about his prediction for the fight between Leon Edwards and Kumaru Usman, and he gave his due credit to Usman being a great fighter, but he was biased towards Leon Edwards as he hails from his home country.
