It’s been over six months since anyone heard of Stephen Fulton Jr. Last July, he lost his unified title to Naoya Inoue in an exciting thriller. Finally, after a good break, netizens got a glimpse of the former champion as he shared a few pictures of himself. Nattily dressed with a new hairdo, overall, Fulton Jr. appeared happy and in his element.

Probably after that dreadful day in Tokyo, Stephen Fulton Jr. wants to bury the past and look ahead. If reports are to be believed, the 29-year-old Philadelphian might move up a division for a belt. Then there’s also the possibility of a much-vaunted rematch with Naoya Inoue to avenge his first career loss. Nevertheless, for the time being, ‘Cool Boy Steph’ seems to be making headlines for an altogether different reason. So much so, that former world champion Caleb Plant rather felt Fulton Jr.’s hairstyle took after another sporting great.

Travis Kelce and Stephen Fulton Jr.: Hair Cut Twins? Caleb Plant Exclaims

Early today, Stephen Fulton Jr. shared photographs of him standing inside a gym. In the big, main photo, he is standing in front of a ring, where two boxers appear to be sparring. Smiling, Fulton Jr. looked relaxed in cream bottoms, red-printed t-shirts, and a blue sports jacket. A big silver chain dangled over his tee. The next (clockwise) showed him immaculately dressed up in a thick brown jacket, black trousers, and dark-tanned shoes.

Stephen Fulton Jr. wrote in the captions, “Gym Fits.” As much as he grabbed the attention of many followers, his overall turnout today didn’t escape the eyes of Caleb Plant. Tagging ‘Cool Boy Steph’, the Tennessean wrote, “With the Travis Kelce cut too! @coolboysteph.

Perhaps ‘Sweethands’ was subtly alluding to the hairstyle that has gained popularity, inspired by the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. Known as the ‘buzz cut fade’, the star athlete himself has reportedly been amazed by the growing number of people requesting this particular hairdo. Plant’s tweet met with much laughter among the followers.

The Ashland City-born boxer has yet to make a comeback after the second career loss to David Benavidez last year. His name made it to the headlines briefly on account of the ‘slapgate’ involving Jermall Charlo. But outside of that, things haven’t moved much for ‘Sweethands’. Many fans, however, still believe a grudge match between the ‘Hitman’ and Caleb Plant is very doable. As far as the latter is concerned, a victory over the middleweight champion might as well put him back on track for a rematch with Canelo Alvarez or David Benavidez.
