One of the most significant matches of the year, for the WBC Interim Super Middleweight title, is days away. The contestant, former champion, and the youngest Middleweight titleholder David Benavidez will face IBF Super Middleweight champion Caleb Plant on March 25 at the MGM Grand Arena. The hype around the fight has been growing, given how the Middleweight division is currently placed after the undisputed champion Canelo Alvarez, Benavidez, and Plant as the next best prospects who pose a challenge to the Mexican’s throne.
Both boxers are known for their hard-hitting style of boxing. Hence most of the fans expect a take-n-prisoners exchange on Fight Night. In between, as the focus of attention remains on the duo, discussion of their family and personal life has started to grab its fair share of exploration. Despite the 2021 loss to Canelo Alvarez, Caleb Plant returned with a big-bang knockout of Anthony Dirrell last year.
The boxer, who has been through many personal setbacks in his life, found a solid shoulder to lean on. In 2015, Plant sadly lost his nineteen-month-old daughter Alia. Roughly a year later, he met Jordan Hardy in 2016. They began dating and married three years later.
