Last year, in a surprising move, Alvarez ended up signing a three-fight deal with PFL. He has already fought his first bout against Jermell Charlo. However, as we know, for now, the identity of the second mystery opponent is still unknown.

According to the tweet, Reynoso, in a Mexican podcast, hinted at negotiations with PBC and Prime, listing four possible opponents for Canelo: Munguia, Benavidez, Charlo, and Crawford. Though as we know now, Crawford is already out of the race which leaves only Charlo and Benavidez.
