Canelo Alvarez Sends a Positive Message to Jake Paul

P4P king Canelo Alvarez isn’t ruling out a potential fight against Jake Paul, which can be bizarre and entertaining. Despite the sheer contrast in their resumes, the social media star turned fighter, Paul, has constantly aimed shots at Alvarez. He has also envisioned himself facing the current three-belt unified super middleweight champion, possibly after three more years in action.
As of now, the 31-year-old has serious challenges ahead and Jake Paul hasn’t made it to his combat radar yet. That said, Alvarez can welcome the challenge in the future. After largely ruling out a fight against Paul, he even displayed a minor change in emotions recently.

In a chat with Fight Hype, Canelo Alvarez said, “We don’t know. You never say no. So, we don’t know. He can try and keep going, fighting, and learn and we will see in the future.”
“A lot of things [Jake Paul needs to do]. I am not gonna say I don’t like or like [Paul’s personality]. So, everybody have his personality. So, it’s good.”

Paul (4-0) has faced no professional boxer yet. Although he claims himself to be a pugilist, his wins have come against a social media star, a retired NBA player, and two ex-MMA champions with zero pro-boxing experience. Thus, he is still nowhere near Canelo Alvarez’s status. 56-1-1 as a professional, Alvarez is already a legend and way above Paul.
However, three years from now, things could look different. If Paul remains active with constant wins on board, he can rightly earn a shot at Canelo Alvarez.

In terms of business, Alvarez vs Paul appears a favorable blockbuster at the Box Office. Both men are superstars and bring in sheer attention from the fight world. Moreover, Jake Paul and Canelo Alvarez have had their share of banter already, which has intensified the possible fight between them.
Meanwhile, Jake Paul has also begun his own promotions, named ‘MVP‘. Thus, he is also targeting the business market. If Paul can host a clash against Alvarez under his own banner, it will be lucrative for his pocket.
