Canelo Alvarez’s Wife Shares Adorable Video of Daughter Helping Her Dad Train

Canelo Alvarez is busy preparing for his next fight against John Ryder on May 6th. Among others, his daughter Maria Fernanda Alvarez is helping him prepare for his next match inside the ring. After his loss against Dmitry Bivol, Alvarez, in his return, faced Gennady Golovkin in a trilogy. Having snatched a UD victory and thus ending his rivalry with ‘GGG’, Alvarez will now face Ryder in the ring.

While David Benavidez called out Canelo, the latter still looked forward to locking horns with Bivol in a rematch in boxing. However, it is not yet clear who the ‘Mexican Phenom’ will fight after the bout on May 6th. Meanwhile, his little daughter won hearts by applying balm on her father’s struggle inside the boxing gym.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Fernanda Gomez, wife of Canelo Alvarez shared brief clips of their daughter with Canelo in the ring. In one clip, little Maria tied the gloves of her father while he stood patiently. In another, she wiped her father’s head with a towel as he sat on the ropes. Overwhelmed and touched by his little daughter’s gestures, Alvarez relaxed after a hard-core training session in the ring.

On May 6th, Alvarez will fight the current WBO Interim world super middleweight title holder in boxing. Other than being two years older than Canelo, John Ryder has already conceded 5 professional defeats. Callum Smith, Rocky Fielding, and Jack Arnfield are among the other opponents who defeated John Ryder in pro boxing. While Canelo prepares himself to meet Ryder, fans look forward to witnessing Canelo Alvarez vs. David Benavidez inside the ring.
