In a hard-fought battle where both defenses dominated, the Kansas City Chiefs emerged victorious in an exhilarating overtime Super Bowl showdown led by Patrick Mahomes. Similar to their Super Bowl loss four years prior against the Chiefs, the San Francisco 49ers had a 10-point lead but couldn’t maintain it as Mahomes’ team gradually found a foothold in the game. Amidst all this, Terence Crawford, who was glued to his screen had changed sides.

Crawford took to X to express his excitement. He was constantly active throughout and kept fans entertained with his updates throughout the duration of the game. Which team did he end up cheering for?

When the NFL announced Usher as the headline act for the Super Bowl 2024 halftime show, anticipation was high, and the R&B icon did not disappoint. With a stellar performance at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the eight-time Grammy Award winner delivered an unforgettable show, showcasing some of his most iconic hits like ‘Yeah!’. This was another reason for Crawford to go bananas. “Usher the Goat.” he wrote in another tweet.

The Superbowl was not the only match Crawford was looking forward to. Not too long ago, he kept himself updated on Teofimo Lopez’s fight against Jamaine Ortiz and used the chance to take a dig at him.

Crawford couldn’t hide his satisfaction as he took a jab at Teofimo Lopez, the WBO 140-pound titlist, following Lopez’s lackluster victory over Jamaine Ortiz in a 12-round bout that disappointed boxing fans. This fight echoed Lopez’s narrow win against Sandor Martin in December 2022, where Martin’s southpaw style caused problems for Lopez, leading to self-doubt captured in a viral hot mic moment.

After the fight, Crawford criticized Lopez on his X account, emphasizing Lopez’s focus on him rather than his opponents. Lopez, emotional after his victory, called out Crawford in a post-fight interview, proposing a catchweight bout. Crawford dismissed Lopez’s call-out as a promotional tactic. Crawford concluded by suggesting Lopez return to the drawing board, labeling him as a “chump” for fixating on him instead of his own fights.
