Ahead of his last fight against Hector Luis Garcia, Gervonta Davis parted ways with Mayweather Promotions citing his desire to “put his own pants on”. Despite splitting with ‘The Money Team’, Davis wished love to Floyd Mayweather, the team, and the CEO of Mayweather Promotions Leonard Ellerbe while keeping the prospect of working with TMT in the future alive. Ahead of Ryan Garcia vs Gervonta Davis, acknowledging ‘Tank’ Davis’ abilities and skill set, Ellerbe in an interview with Fight Hub TV confidently now declared that Davis would run over Garcia in the ring.

Ellerbe believes Garcia vs Davis will answer a number of questions while establishing the point that Davis is better than Garcia in boxing. “Tank’s gonna run him over. I take nothing away from Ryan Garcia because I think he’s a very good fighter. But it’s levels – this stuff,” declared Ellerbe rooting for Davis.

Ellerbe, who has already branded Davis vs Garcia “the biggest fight in boxing”, feels Davis is better than Garcia in the ring. In his opinion, even though “Ryan Garcia could fight his a** off, he is “just not a better fighter than ‘Tank’ Davis“. According to Ellerbe, the moment Garcia will get hit with a shot that he won’t see approaching, he will realize who Davis is. “When the first time he will get hit with a big shot that he don’t see. What happens when you hit the other guy with a good shot and he just smiles at you?” added Ellerbe.

As per Ellerbe’s belief, Davis will ultimately put an end to Garcia’s unbeaten journey in professional boxing. “A lot of questions will be answered in this fight. It’s gonna be fireworks”, he concluded by saying. One punch can change the night; one punch can end the fight. Fans will have to tune in to witness who changes whose trajectory in the ring.
