Shields stated that Jonas is not much known worldwide, while Shields is pretty much known all around the world, so it did not make sense to offer her opponent such a big amount of paycheck. She further added, “We were asking for a real title fight, we weren’t asking for, uh a fight to help her retire and take care of her family like that’s just not what we were offering.” She even made a tweet around this clip where she stated that her opponents try to always price themselves out of the fight and are scared to fight her.

The fans may not see Jonas taking on Shields in her next fight due to failed negotiations. Moreover, Natasha Jonas stated that she deserves to get paid and slammed Shields’ fight offer. Now, Shields need to find a justifiable opponent for her next fight, as even the Savannah Marshall rematch doesn’t seem to be working out and may get canceled as well, according to Ben Shalom.
