Phelps, recently, retweeted a viral video, that’s been going around the internet for a while now. The video was originally uploaded by @SchoolFights4U, and Phelps is disgusted by the whole scenario that was shown in the video. She shared the video to spread awareness of how children of this age are walking on the path of no respect.

In the video uploaded by @SchoolFights4U, there is not much context given, but it can be seen that there is a student in a white T-shirt, who is treating his teacher with utter disrespect. He is causing a ruckus and disrupting the decorum of the classroom by shouting in the face of the teacher. Also, he can be seen cussing and verbally abusing the teacher the whole time, by using racial slurs.

The teacher tells the student to sit down, but he doesn’t seem to be listening, as he thought that it was disrespectful for the teacher to talk to him in that manner. At one point, the student even grabs the dustbin and throws all the garbage out of it. There were even some chuckles that could be heard, during this whole disruption inside the classroom.

Michelle Joy Phelps branded all the other kids who found this spectacle amusing, as “clowns”. And then she talked about how if the teacher had done anything in his defense, or even to discipline the student, he’d have lost his job. And then the whole media would’ve blamed the teacher for abusing the student. She was disappointed by all of this, and wrote as an alert, “This is our generation, folks.”

Phelps has always been concerned with the development of our society as a whole. A few months ago, she even tweeted about her sister’s violent encounter with a homeless person.
