A simple shout-out from Claressa Shields proved enough to draw out the ‘inner doctors’ from quite a few followers on X. Who knows? A few genuine ones, too, might have joined, rushing to her aid with some advice and mainly with actual concern for her well-being. The undisputed Middleweight champion recently made the news. She and rival Savannah Marshall are poised for a mixed martial arts campaign next year.

So, Claressa Shields wrote that she had the most excruciating headache she had experienced in a very long time. Many fans jumped in with a few heads-ups and recommendations. But then, as always happens, a few didn’t want to miss the opportunity to tease and make fun of the champion.

Expressing his deep concern, the following user mentioned that perhaps Shields needed to lie down and rest. But she should keep herself hydrated, and additionally, taking some ibuprofen and other painkillers may help lessen the discomfort. They also advised her to refer to a physician to ensure it’s not something more severe if the headache doesn’t disappear.

This fan advised the undisputed champion to drink plenty of water to alleviate the symptoms.

Unsurprisingly, it was time for a few to join in with their wisecracks. For instance, the following fan advised Claressa Shields to focus on her head movement more.

Then, the champion’s constant babbling seems to give the following fan a splitting headache.

However, a die-hard fan also joined. Calling her wonderfully gifted and stunning, they wished that God continued to shower his favor upon her.

Claressa Shields successfully defended her Middleweight titles on June 3. Her opponent, Maricela Cornejo, a last-minute substitute for Hanna Gabriels, couldn’t withstand the two-time Olympic gold medalist’s onslaught. It remains anyone’s guess on who will be her next opponent. An ongoing beef with Shadasia Green has fueled rumors of an upcoming bout. But there are also talks of a rematch with Savannah Marshall as well. Given that the latter will also try mixed martial arts, there’s a possibility of the two meeting for an octagonal clash.
