How rich is Floyd Mayweather? While numbers would suffice as an answer, the boxer at regular intervals has taken it upon himself to answer the question. How? A routine update on where he spends his riches, and how. Does that impress fans? Well…
As per our records, the former welterweight champion is worth a sterling $450 million. While most of this intimidating money comes from the 50-undefeated fights, he undertook in his day, another huge chunk of it comes from the endorsements and companies that he now owns. Personifying his moniker ‘Money’, the 46-year-old today lives proudly on his money. The proof? His social media attests to it. Like this post.

Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather picks it up
Boxing Kingdom posted a video of the Las Vegas-based fighter on X, formerly Twitter. In it, decked in a co-ord set, Mayweather can be seen engrossed in a workout session, going hard at the heavy bag. While multiple such videos of him shining his boxing skills have made rounds of the internet, this one was different. How? As he took swipes at the bag, dollar bills kept raining from above. Amidst his grunts, and the glare of folks that could be his security personnel, Mayweather’s fascination with wealth shone brightly. The X profile came up with the conjecture for the video from 2021. They wrote, “Floyd Mayweather’s house is full of money. It’s even in the heavy bag.” Is it though?

While it seems implausible that the bills raining on the boxer were falling off from the heavy bag, the symbolic representation of his wealth made a few fans accept the assertion. Another huge section of fans, however, remained uninterested, more so, even ‘unimpressed’ with the rampant show off of his wealth.
Money Can’t buy everything after all
One fan held no qualms in expressing how the video had failed to impress them, noting, “Not even the hangers on are impressed.”

Money is a means to measure success, yes. But when overdone, it can come out a little banal, even corny as one fan suggested.

Another fan acknowledged the success Mayweather had amassed in his boxing career. However, they disliked the person he’s become now.
Amazing how pathetic he’s become

Another fan chose to look at the details. Why did the fighter have so many bodyguards in his own house, thought a fan.

Another user noted how ‘cool’ Mayweather was. However, the tone of sarcasm was evident in the comment.
Wow, he’s so cool
