Jake Paul, a prominent YouTuber and boxer, has steadily gained recognition for his prowess within the sport. Yet, his ambitions appear to extend beyond mere pugilism. Collaborating with fellow promoters, Paul has recently unveiled a groundbreaking boxing series known as “Most Valuable Prospects.” As the name suggests, it will focus on highlighting up-and-coming top prospect fighters.

The series has finally commenced with the inaugural event taking place recently on May 26 in Orlando, Florida. However, one of the fights that took place in the first event of the series has caused a lot of people to question the level of participating boxers. Boxing enthusiasts were left outraged as the bout between Giovanni Louis and Carlos Rey Ramirez went viral on the internet.

MVP and the Florida Commission are under heavy scrutiny as the fans were left questioning – ‘who sanctioned the fight?’ As soon as the fight began, it was crystal clear that Ramirez had no place in the ring. He appeared to be a total novice and even though it was Louis’ pro debut, he made quick work of Ramirez. The fight ended in just 54 seconds. He had a stiff stance and his punches followed a cat-scratching-like motion.
