In his latest conversation, Ryan Garcia, coming full circle, revealed the resumption of talks with Devin Haney. Many fans must have immediately crossed their fingers, lest this time the line-up gets jinxed. They must have also closed their ears to deflect any further ruinous updates. But their eyes were open, and to their pleasant surprise, they were treated to a delight.

A few hours ago, Ryan Garcia shared a photo. It showed him standing beside former UFC great Nate Diaz. He wrote, “Beware of the Stockton Slap, @natediaz209. Good times, bro!! Many more to come…“Needless to say, a bevy of fans joined in with their thoughts. While Diaz stood as he usually does, the way ‘KingRy’ stood did become a talking point for many.

The young boxer found himself at the center of boxing news after zeroing in on a fight with Devin Haney. Then he changed his mind to take on Rolando Romero. Soon after, there were talks of a fight with Jose Ramirez. Finally, there was even a call out to Isaac Cruz in the background.

The latest update from him about something happening to get a fight with Haney back on track has once again raised the hopes of fans. After the loss to Gervonta Davis (now also known as Abdul Wahid) in April last year, Garcia made a solid comeback by December and defeated Oscar Duarte. Hence, many expect him to get a big fight, a deal that, besides the money, could help in the legacy department as well by getting him his first proper world title.

Thus, standing alongside an MMA great only prompted many to make suggestions on Garcia picking up the best qualities from him to make it through.

When Slap joins Jab

But that didn’t prevent hecklers from taking shots at ‘The Stockton Slap’ and ‘KingRy’. From the latter’s polite pose to the former’s notoriety, fans picked on anything they found worthy of commenting upon.

This fan probably believes that Nate Diaz got Ryan Garcia stoned. They said, “Damn, he got you high af.” On the other hand, this user feels happy about ‘KingRy’ being in the company of experienced personalities such as Diaz, who entertain unique thought processes. “Dope! being around OG’s with mindsets beyond this world,” the user said. Even this follower appears to have felt the same as they mentioned that Garcia is finally picking up from some of the best minds: “[Finally] you’re learning from the best.

Another fan continued with the overall vibe that Ryan Garcia should follow Nate Diaz’s example. Given ‘The Stockton Slap’s sheer toughness, the young boxer can surely pick up some of his mental attitude. “That’s who you should fw. Try & adopt some of his mentality. Diaz is tough as nails,” the fan said.

Anyhow, there was no dearth of teasers in this crowd. For instance, taking a cue from Diaz’s presence, this user believes that the only thing that Garcia needed to beat Gervonta Davis (now also known as Abdul Wahid) last April was a good old slap. They said, “All you needed to beat Tank lol was that slap lol.

Whatever the conversation they would have had, the Ryan Garcia picture with Nate Diaz has surely roused scores of fans. Probably, as many followers espoused the chance meeting, it may as well have provided the young boxer with the much-needed morale boost he needs for upcoming fights.
