Jake Paul is a name that has become synonymous with boxing in recent times. The Youtuber turned professional boxer has made waves in the sport. Notably, he gained a large following for his non-conventional approach and showmanship in boxing. After a string of impressive victories, Jake Paul took on Tommy Fury, the younger brother of world champion boxer Tyson Fury. The highly anticipated fight piqued interest with fans eager to see if Jake Paul could continue his winning streak against an experienced opponent.
The fight ended in a split decision victory for Tommy Fury, and now it seems that ‘The Problem Child’ is now looking for a rematch in order to redeem himself. Jake Paul recently, in his brother, Logan Paul‘s podcast ‘Impaulsive’, talked about his fight against, Fury and shared the conversation he had with Tommy after the battle in the medical office. The whole podcast was a rollercoaster ride. In the same episode, Logan Paul also made a heartfelt apology to his younger brother.
The American boxer shared that he found Tommy Fury’s claims surprising. The Paul brother claimed that Tommy seemed to be “not that good” for someone who has been fighting his whole life from such a young age.

Jake Paul claims Tommy Fury is ‘not that good’
Jake Paul recently went to his brother, Logan Paul’s podcast ‘Impaulsive’ where he shared his views on his most recent opponent, Tommy Fury. Paul first shared that he thinks he is a better fighter than Fury and that he believes that in the majority of the fights he will be able to defeat the British boxer. He said, “I’d beat him 8/9 times out of 10“.
Paul showed utter confidence in himself even after Tommy defeated him on 26 Feb in Saudi Arabia. He claimed that Tommy Fury is simply not that good. Tommy said, “Bro, you did great, I’ve been doing this since I was six.” Jake went further and mentioned that after the match when they were in the medical office, Tommy praised Jake Paul and complimented Jake for his skills in the ring.

Paul’s answer to Tommy’s statement
Jake paul revealed that when he thinks about Tommy’s startling claim he is left perplexed and wondering, how even after spending all those years honing his craft, Tommy still couldn’t dish out a convincing victory against Paul. Paul claimed that for someone practicing boxing for so long, Tommy was not really that amazing.

The American shared his thoughts, on Tommy’s statement, “Damn, what have you been doing for all those years? Because you’re not that good.”
Paul said that he has only been boxing for 3 years, so there should be a wide gap between them. This didn’t seem to be the case according to the American as he claimed that arguably many judges, analysts, and fighters scored him to win the fight.
