While this might seem like a large bet on England’s victory in the Euros, Chisora is no stranger to betting big on his beliefs. Ahead of the Canelo Alvarez-Billy Joe Saunders bout in May 2021, Derek placed £8,500 on Saunders to win. However, Billy Joe Saunders‘ team threw in the towel after Round 8 as ‘Superb’ suffered an eye injury.

If Saunders had won that fight against the super-middleweight champ, it would have generated a £54,000 payout for Derek Chisora.
What’s next for Derek Chisora?

“There’s talk of Dereck Chisora and a rematch. If I was Chisora, I’d be planning my retirement after that fight if it is to happen,” said Parker’s Manager in an interview with Sky Sports.
Confident in his abilities, Joseph Parker wants to use this fight against Derek Chisora as a warm-up bout for rematches with Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte.
In a post-fight interview, he expressed that the judgment of their fight in May 2o21 was unfair and felt that his hand should have been raised instead.
