On the 11th of June, Floyd Mayweather Jr. will walk into the 7th exhibition fight of his life after he retired from professional boxing in 2017. Ahead of the bout, in an interview, Mayweather’s latest opponent, John Gotti III had declared that he would bring “bad intentions” to the 46-year-old. Although it is going to be an exhibition match, Gotti III roughly stated, “It’s kill or be killed.”

After the mentioned assertion by Gotti III made a dash in the world of boxing, the 29-year-old during the final press conference expressed what the bout against the unbeaten boxer actually meant to him. Gotti III, who claimed to be at his best for the fight on June 11th, publicly admitted the respect he held for ‘TBE’.

Undoubtedly, having finally received the opportunity to face ‘TBE,’ Gotti III is excited and looks forward to fighting “as hard as I can fight.” Despite the “kill or be killed” warning, ahead of the match on 11th June, Gotti III admitted “the amount of respect” he had for the 46-year-old.

I’m excited for this opportunity. I’ve been looking out for Floyd practically half my life, for most of my life. And then Floyd is part of the reason why I’m here right now. To be honest, that’s the amount of respect I have for Floyd,” Gotti III stated at the final press conference. While admiring Mayweather in public, Gotti III announced he would enter the ring with everything he has got. “I’m coming out with everything I’ve got. I’m gonna fight as hard as I ever thought my entire life.
