Undisputed super featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner is dusting off her gloves and stepping back into the ring. Just two days after the ABC lifted her suspension, the WBC announced her next fight: a mandatory title defense against Delfine Persoon. Her next bout would mark Baumgardner’s return after a seven-month hiatus. But even that fight doesn’t seem to be confirmed yet.

Alycia Baumgardner recently posted an open challenge for her undisputed titles. She wrote, “Wanna be a challenge.” This caught the attention of Ryan Garcia, who decided to bet against Baumgardner, which again garnered the response from Garcia’s upcoming opponent, Devin Haney. So, Baumgardner became another reason for the divided outlook between Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia before their fight on April 20.

Haney responded, “I’ll bet a million on.. @alyciambaum.” So, ‘The Dream’ made sure that he gets his message across and reminds Garcia to put some respect on the track record of the undisputed champion.
