After his recent arrest for carrying a concealed weapon in his car, Devin Haney recently bashed Tom Holland over the latter’s statement about Haney vs. Lomachenko. Although Holland did not even mention Haney’s name and referred to what “the general consensus is” about Devin Haney vs. Vasyl Lomachenko, ‘The Dream’ took to Twitter and involved Zendaya in his response to the Spider-Man actor.

Recently, Tom Holland appeared on the Jay Shetty Podcast and addressed his favorite fighter, Lomachenko, and his last fight. He then commented on how the business of boxing differed from the one run by the UFC. It is safe to say that Holland’s views did not please Haney, which led to the same on Twitter.

According to Holland’s statements, Lomachenko’s last fight was “an interesting one“. While Holland never mentioned what should have been the result for him, he simply pointed out that it was a decision that went against the Ukrainian boxer. “Well, I see the general consensus is that he won, but it was given the other way. He is my favorite boxer; in his most recent fight, he lost. It was a vote. It went against him,” said Holland. Having said that, the 27-year-old wondered about Lomachenko vs. Haney II. “So, I wonder whether they’ll fight again. That’s the problem with boxing, you know. Will they fight again? It’s a tricky business, unlike the UFC, where if they want to fight, they will fight,” added Holland.

Despite Tom Holland not making any remarks about Devin Haney in particular, the latter took to Twitter and announced that he “always had a thing for Zendaya”. However, it merits an admission that, as Holland pointed out, several people felt Haney’s victory against Lomachenko was a controversial one. As per Haney’s reaction, it seems the 24-year-old does not want a rematch with Lomachenko either at this point. Recently, Haney left prison with a $35,000 bail and has a hearing to attend in August.
