Devin Haney and George Kambosos Jr. are all set to face each other on June 4 inside the Marvel Stadium, Melbourne, Australia. With five titles on the line, this match will be one of the biggest boxing events held on Australian soil. While Devin Haney is the current WBC lightweight champion of the world, George Kambosos holds the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and The Ring Magazine lightweight titles.

Just a few hours ago, the organizers conducted the official weigh-in. Anyway, both the fighters have made weights and are now only moments away from locking horns. Part of his Art of War, says George Kambosos Jr.

After George Kambosos Jr. reappeared on the scales and made his weight, an official interviewed him and asked about what he did to hit his mark.

Relaxing, Kambosos Jr. referred to The Art of War by Sun Tzu, and said the following, “Art of War, baby. Deception. Let them believe that this was done. Everything is for a cause; everything is for a process. Trust me. Tomorrow, just be here.”

In addition, he commented, “Art of War, Deception. Maybe I did it on purpose. I took a piss; I chilled out. I was about to have a great coffee, also, you know, let me go and make the weight. Now I’m gonna go, have a great coffee. See you all tomorrow.”

Well, it seems Kambosos Jr. wanted his fans to believe that he missed weight the first time on purpose. However, how this will affect Haney’s mindset, only the ‘Ferocious’ will know.

Devin Haney responded to Kambosos Jr. with one word and an emoji

Following the dramatic incident, and Kambosos’ comments, the WBC champion took to Twitter, and in a reply to Dan Rafael, gave his verdict. Rafael tweeted the following:

He wrote, “Asked what he did between 1st attempt and making weight on second, Kambosos says, “I took a piss. I chilled out. Used 1:15 of his allotted 2 hours. #boxing #KambososHaney.”

Replying to Rafael’s tweet, Haney shared one word and a running emoji.
