In a recent post by IFL TV, they shared a snapshot of Jhon Ingram alongside Mayweather, captioned: “THE NEXT FLOYD MAYWEATHER? 👀 Floyd Mayweather has labeled the undefeated 22-year-old Jhon Ingram as ‘the next Floyd Mayweather’ ahead of his appearance on Floyd’s undercard next week.” The photo and statement together quickly ignited a flurry of reactions from fans.

Andrew Williams and Curtis Moloney both echoed a similar sentiment. Williams pointed out, “Didn’t he say the same about Broner 🤣” and Moloney concurred, “Sure he said Broner was too.”

Yelloboi Jones couldn’t resist taking a light-hearted jab at Mayweather’s propensity to anoint his fighters as successors. He commented, “Every fighter Floyd gets he says they the next Floyd Mayweather 😆😂😂.”
