Unified welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. and WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford were set to face in an undisputed welterweight title bout in November. The two have been touted as the best boxers in the division and were finally ready to compete in the ring. However, it has been reported that the fight might be in jeopardy because of a lingering dispute regarding the contract.
According to ESPN, Crawford wants transparency related to event expenses since his contract contains no guaranteed purse. Although the WBO champ will earn a percentage of the net revenue, he wants the ability to approve expenses. Crawford became a free agent after parting ways with Top Rank while Spence fights under Man Down Promotions.

Moreover, one fan also claimed that this part of boxing ‘bored’ him as the best possible fights never get made.
This is the part of boxing that bored me… the most “in demand” fights never get to happen… Still expecting new excuses on why Fury – AJ isn’t going to happen too.

It would be an unmitigated disaster — for Crawford, for Spence, for boxing — if this fight doesn’t get made. https://t.co/PkhnFpF6cb

At this point neither should be considered p4p when there's another top guy who claims they p4p in their respective division

This isn’t a duck. This is business. And since PBC has all of the leverage they are dictating what they will/won’t do. It’s lazy reporting to assume otherwise. Max knows better than this. He just wants to take a cheap shot at Haymon since he’s aligned with ESPN
