Floyd Mayweather is on his way to back to Japan. On 25th September in an exhibition fight, ‘Money’ will take on Mikuru Asakura, a mixed martial artist from Rizin. While fans eagerly awaited Mayweather’s anticipated return to Saitama Super, he took to Instagram and shared a brief clip where a fan abundantly praised Mayweather and his achievement in the sport.
According to the fan, Mayweather is the most disrespected G.O.A.T. in sports. And although he fought and won all his fights, he scarcely received the credits he actually deserved. Recently, there were bankruptcy rumors involving Mayweather.

In the clip, the fan said, “Floyd Mayweather is the most disrespected G.O.A.T. I have ever seen in sports. And I mean this truthfully. Floyd Mayweather gets an incredible amount of praise, but he also gets some incredible amount of disrespect when it comes to ‘Who’s the greatest boxer of all time’. Floyd Mayweather is the greatest boxer of all time. And it shouldn’t really be a discussion.”
The fan went on and even brought great names, such as Ali, Chavez, Robinson, and Leonard. Here is what set Mayweather apart, according to the fan.
Why Floyd Mayweather is different from Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard
The fan went on arguing his case. Floyd Mayweather also expressed in his caption that although he did not know who the fan was, he was speaking “real sh*t”!
The fan continued, “Now listen, there are other greats – Muhammad Ali, Julio Cesar Chavez, Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard – all are amazing fighters. But none of them have done what Floyd Mayweather did. To go 50-0 in a professional boxing career, when over half of your fights are world championship fights. Not only to do that, but to never officially have been dropped in your entire career. I can count on one hand the amount of times that Floyd Mayweather has been hurt in a professional boxing match.”

“Floyd Mayweather also gets a lot of sh*t because he picks his opponents. Floyd fought 24 world champions in his career, and we’re talking about him picking fights like he’s fighting scrubs? Are you serious? This man was the greatest of his generation and did things that I don’t think we’re ever gonna see again in our lifetime”, he concluded by saying.
