Conor Benn and Gervonta Davis have been in a feud for over a year now. The two are not strangers to legal trouble either. Benn secured victory in his comeback fight in Florida this September, winning by unanimous decision over Rodolfo Orozco. Despite being a 26-year-old Welterweight contender, Benn faced challenges in the ring. Moreover, the controversy surrounding the ongoing appeal in his UKAD case marked his return. This appeal follows two positive drug tests that occurred last year.

Davis indirectly roped in Benn while clashing with Devin Haney on X. Benn responded by taking a shot at Davis who has freshly secured a victory over Ryan Garcia in what was considered a huge financial success. We can see history repeating as Davis and Benn seem to be entering a heated debate on the social media platform.

Conor Benn has a message for Tank

Post Haney’s victory over Regis Prograis, he has barely spared anyone. ‘Tank’ has been a favorite target of his. While engaging in banter with Haney, Davis mentioned Eddie Hearn, Haney’s promoter, questioning his integrity for letting Benn fight after he was caught in a doping scandal. This was to raise questions about Haney as well. Benn, seemingly, does not want Davis to drag his name into it. Dont mention me @Gervontaa in your little cross fire you little dwarf woman beater.” posted Benn on his X account.

Davis was released this July from a 44-day prison stint. Moreover, this is not the first time Conor Benn has made fun of Davis for his height. In another X post, he said Yeah I’m small but that little woman beater @Gervontaa has full length photo on his drivers license”.

Amidst all this, Benn is also entertaining discussions of a possible fight with Haney.

Devin Haney eyeing Benn for next fight?

Conor Benn has emerged as a potential opponent for Haney as well. The boxer shared a post on X revealing Bill Haney’s interest in a potential matchup between Benn and Haney. Discussions about a  fight with Chris Eubank Jr are ongoing. At the same time, Bill has expressed his admiration for the Benn family’s boxing legacy, considering it an honor to be in their presence.

In response, Benn suggested that Eubank Jr. might be avoiding a fight with him. Benn, open to a bout on February 3rd at 147 lbs, invited Haney to face him, stating, “Eubanks lost his pen again so if you fancy feb 3 at spurs @Realdevinhaney I’ll welcome you to the 147 division.” While Bill Haney may be contemplating a matchup with Benn, Devin Haney’s plans remain uncertain.

It is a complex situation but who do you think will end up stepping into the ring with ‘The Dream?’ Will it be Davis or will it be Benn? Let us know your views in the comments below.
