Peter Fury, is a man who belongs to a family of great boxers. He is the father of Hughie Fury, who is a British professional boxer, and even challenged for the WBO Heavyweight Title back in 2017. Moreover, his nephew is none other than the ‘Gypsy King’, Tyson Fury. So Peter Fury is vocal about a lot of things, being the brother of John Fury. People love his views on various topics and love to see him talking. Recently, during an interview, he was asked to say something inspirational, and he sent out a very crucial message to the whole world.

Peter Fury has only fought once inside the ring. He was a Heavyweight boxer himself, and Peter tried his hands as a professional boxer, on the night of March 17, 1988, but unfortunately, he lost that fight by a corner stoppage. But now, Peter has become a great analyst when it comes to boxing fights.

Tyson Fury’s uncle sends out a crucial message

Peter Fury gave an interview to Boxing King Media, where the interviewer mentioned how a lot of people message him on social media platforms, praising Peter’s views and opinions, and how he clearly states facts without being afraid of backlash. The interviewer then asked him if he would like to give a certain inspirational message to his fans. Before this, he also shared an incident from his prison time to send out a message to the world.

Peter Fury said, “What do you want me to say? A boy’s a boy and a girl’s a girl.” Well, Peter encountered the problems that have been arising around gender dysphoria lately. He stated that everyone should be able to choose their own path, and since it’s a free world, nobody should impose their opinions and views on another person. Everybody can choose who they want it to be, they shouldn’t be judged for it, according to Peter.

But simultaneously, he infers that anybody who’s below 18 years old should be judged by their parents as young kids need protection from adults. He stated that nobody should be allowed to manipulate a child’s fragile mind and doing so is utterly wrong. Peter believes that parents should have all the power to protect their children.

He said, “Don’t mess with children because children’s the closest thing to the blessed lord, the pure. Don’t take their minds for some stupid adult behavior.

And he even stated that this is just one of his opinions and he has every right to say what he believes in, out loud. He asked every parent to be extra cautious and attentive if it concerns their children. In another interview, he also expressed his views on the drama ongoing between his nephew and Oleksandr Usyk.

Peter Fury expresses his thoughts on Fury vs. Usyk

Not long ago, Peter Fury had a conversation with iFL TV where he talked about the status of Fury vs. Usyk. The bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk was to happen on the 29th of April, but it collapsed right at the initial phase. It hasn’t been waved off completely yet, as there are rumors that they’ll fight in the Saudi Arabian-funded heavyweight tournament.

The fans may get to see Fury against Usyk and Anthony Joshua going against Deontay Wilder, all in one night. Peter Fury, who’s been the trainer of Tyson Fury for most of his life, said, “Tyson’s definitely above Joshua and Wilder, but Usyk’s a different ball game. He’s a tough fight for anybody.

He continued, “That’s a close call, that fight. That could go either way, Usyk is a dangerous operator.” So, Peter believes that Usyk will prove to be the toughest opponent Tyson Fury has ever faced.
