In his latest interview with Say Cheese, Shakur Stevenson stated the toughest fighter he could face in contemporary boxing. Among Devin Haney, the current undisputed lightweight champion, Gervonta Davis, the current WBA world lightweight champion, and Ryan Garcia, Stevenson picked ‘Tank’ Davis. In his opinion, ‘Tank’ and him would make “the big fight.” According to Stevenson, “‘Tank’ just got that power.”

In this connection, while Stevenson called Ryan Garcia “trash,”, he branded Gervonta Davis as “a dangerous fighter.” “Ryan, he’s trash. It gon’ be ‘Tank’,” Stevenson said. The 25-year-old is of the view that Davis’s power “translates from 1 to 12.” “When I watched him with Gamboa, his power still like there from 1 to 12. I just feel that just makes him more of a dangerous fighter,” reasoned Stevenson. After a boxing-related account recently shared Stevenson’s statements on Twitter, a number of fans reacted to it.

Stevenson is still unbeaten and in his last fight fought Shuichiro Yoshino. He currently holds a record of 0 losses and 20 wins. The former unified featherweight champion is certainly one of the faces of contemporary boxing. Undoubtedly, the boxing world would soon see him against the likes of Haney and Davis. Regarding his comments on ‘Tank,’ a fan contested Stevnson’s views. They referred to the time Shakur mentioned that “he would smoke Prime Pacquiao.” “By default, Pacquiao had greater power than Tank, as he carried it up all the way to 150lb and was still dropping 147lb guys in his 40s. He also had crazy hand and leg speed too,” they added.
I kinda find it funny that he considers Tank dangerous, but said he would smoke Prime Pacquiao. By default, Pacquiao had greater power than Tank, as he carried it up all the way to 150lb and was still dropping 147lb guys in his 40s. He also had crazy hand and leg speed too.
