At the start of the match, the 26-year-old Paul showcased his agility, swiftly delivering straight rights to the midsection of his opponent, 35-year-old August. Despite August landing a powerful right hook to Paul’s head, the younger boxer unexpectedly executed a skillful right uppercut behind a jab, causing August to fall to the canvas in the very first round. Long-time rival, KSI has now given his two cents on the victory.

KSI takes a dig at Jake Paul post his victory

KSI knocked down IShowSpeed three times before oddly opting to ‘tap out’ in his YouTube rivalry clash. The social media personalities scheduled the showdown to even align it with Jake Paul’s boxing match in Florida. However, KSI and IShowSpeed didn’t commence their bout until after Paul’s fight.

In an interview with Fred Talks Fighting, KSI did not shy away from commenting on his rival’s win. He did not spare August either, pulling him into his banter with Paul. “Am I shocked? No. We all know that Jake just looks for super easy fights and he fought a cab driver this time so yeah. It is what it is. I don’t really care about him. I didn’t even know he was fighting at the same time as me,” said KSI.

While the American boxer continues to make strides in his professional boxing career, his highly anticipated grudge match with KSI appears to have taken a back seat.

Notably, Paul has achieved impressive PPV numbers in previous fights. However, recent shifts in dynamics indicate that Paul is steering away from influencer boxing and focusing on his championship aspirations. Despite initial expectations for a match against KSI, Paul seems to have lost interest and is dismissive of the idea, emphasizing his dedication to pursuing championship goals and fighting purely professional boxers.
