The world of influencer boxing has seen many intense rivalries, however, the feud between Jake Paul and Deji has managed to capture the attention of fans like no other. These two internet personalities have been at odds for years which resulted in a bout between the two. Back in 2018, both went toe-to-toe in an undercard bout for the highly publicized KSI vs. Logan Paul fight. Many consider the fight to be Deji’s best performance throughout his career as Paul ended up with a bloody nose. However, ‘The Problem Child’ managed to win the fight with a stoppage in the fifth round.

This fight marked the debut of Paul into the sport and a journey that led him to face several great fighters on the road to building a career in professional boxing. Recently as Anthony Joshua and KSI sat down together for an interview with DAZN, the question about who would win in a rematch was raised. Joshua was surprisingly quick to side with Deji being the winner. Though JJ seemed to hesitate and stated, “It’s the weight” which was a problem for Deji to make.

Joshua prodded further and asked if weight wasn’t an issue who would JJ put his money on to win. KSI appeared confident and stated that Deji would win the fight. However, he mistakenly put the cap on (the interviewee had to put a cap on if ‘no’ was the answer) as he answered the question, which Joshua corrected and asked him to take the cap off. It appears that both AJ and JJ are of the opinion that Paul will not be able to defeat Deji in a fight. But what does the fan think?

As the video surfaced on X, it quickly made waves on the social media platform. Many fans didn’t agree with the opinion of the two. One fan pointed out “Nah, but ksi probably has to say that.” He insinuated that JJ probably had to take his brother’s side as even AJ did so.

Another fan complimented Deji and stated that the YouTuber is “looking good, looking strong”. However, he also added that he is not “convinced” that he would be able to triumph over Paul.

Meanwhile, someone else shared a quote from Paul targeting Canelo Alvarez and wrote, “Jake wont, this is his goal”.

One fan shared his love for KSI’s younger brother however, added that they “dont think hes ready”. He stated that Deji has the potential to be a boxer however, he still needs to go a long way “before he can face Jake.”

A fan pointed out how no one clarified at which weight category the fight would be taking place. Furthermore, he added, “They didn’t clarify if it’s 165 or 185 tho. I’m pretty sure JJ is smart enough to know that Jake will destroy Deji at 185 lmao”

Another fan claimed that in order to do so, Deji “would have to train like JJ”. He claimed that Paul would be overconfident and end up underestimating Deji and “that would be his downfall.”

Overall, fans couldn’t help but disagree with their statement. It looks like Paul seems more favorable for the fans to win the fight than Deji. It’s understandable as even though they both started at the same time, Paul has a more respectable resume compared to Deji. What are your thoughts about the rematch? Do you think Deji would prevail over Jake Paul? Share your thoughts in the comments.
