Boxing legend Mike Tyson has had a rough year physically as he was suffering from health issues throughout this time. The 56-year-old former heavyweight champion was recently found in a very frail condition at the Miami airport needing a wheelchair to move. This left many wondering if age had finally caught up to Iron Mike.

Moreover, The Baddest Man On The Planet recently made some startling remarks about life and death in his podcast Hotboxin. Tyson was joined by his long-time friend and singer Bobby Brown, where Brown revealed his perspective on love. He stated that true love can only be attained when there is no mental block between the people. ” My perspective of love is being able to love somebody without concern without having uh having a mental block ever. You know always being able to know that that person has your back no matter what.” he said.

Tyson agreed with Brown on this and also had his own take on life and death. He stated that some people’s death is like a slow form of suicide, while life was all about sacrifice. “I can dig that. Some people’s death is the most direct and slowest form of suicide you know. That’s a formal yes what you say ride or die right jump off the um Cliff together. I don’t know that’s a really powerful sacrifice. I guess that’s what it’s all about life is about sacrifice.” said Tyson.

He also added that death cannot be bad, as it was a part of life itself. “dying is not bad. How could life be good and death be bad? why do we go and put us on this planet? We don’t want to be here and we’re here to be afraid to die.” he added.

These were some hard-hitting words from the former heavyweight champion who has had his struggles with health. In an interview with News max, Tyson revealed the reason for him being wheelchair-bound was due to a sciatica flare-up in his lower back. “I have sciatica every now and then, it flares up. When it flares up, I can’t even talk. Thank god, it’s the only health problem I have,” he said.
