Following the loss to Gervonta Davis, Oscar De La Hoya now has three potential opponents for Ryan Garcia to make his return to the ring. Oscar called Garcia the “ticket seller” and promised he would be back in the ring better than ever. In his opinion, with a win, everyone will forget about Garcia’s defeat to Davis. In this sense, speaking to FightHubTV, De La Hoya branded Garcia as “the man” and explained how Garcia moving up to 140 lbs would influence boxing.

Oscar De La Hoya revealed that he had three boxers in mind for Garcia. Additionally, he declared that he would allow Garcia the liberty to pick a boxer he wants to fight. After Garcia has made up his mind, De La Hoya would likely stage the former’s return by the end of 2023.

I have three opponents for him, all considered. And we’ll make sure that he knows what those three opponents, who they are. And he will get to pick. And they will make that fight happen,” declared De La Hoya. In addition, he mentioned that Garcia would fight either in August, September, or October. Although he could not disclose the names of Garcia’s upcoming potential opponents, De La Hoya assured that they had “big fights” in store for ‘KingRy’.
