The former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has had his share of ups and downs in personal and public life and his beloved sport. A wide range of controversies has marred the accolades and records achieved by Mike Tyson. However, Tyson believes he has stayed strong and almost always found a way to jab at life. “I don’t know whether it’s good or whatever respectable African-American. whatever it is that people look at as a black man being acceptable. I mean, it’s not that guy right now. Maybe my children would be that guy. I’m not gonna be. I just can’t do that,” Tyson concluded by adding.

In conclusion, such is the assessment Mike Tyson has of his own life. According to his words, the journey of his life should have more priority over the unpleasant situations he was in. This is rightly so, because a man’s behaviour in hardships tells us more about him than his success. As the saying goes, “Adversity has a way of introducing a man to himself.”
