After a break of six long months, Teofimo Lopez is finally back in the gym and grinding. ‘The Takeover’ last fought in November 2021 against George Kambosos Jr. inside the glorious MSG, New York. Following his bout against Kambosos Jr., Lopez went through an arthroscopic surgery and hence remained out of training for some time. However, now, the champ is all healed and plans to get back inside the ring as early as possible.

Having returned to the gym on the first day, Lopez skipped jumping ropes with his heart out. He made a brief video of him warming up with the rope and uploaded the same on his Instagram. Demonstrating impressive speed and footwork, Lopez literally toyed with the skipping rope, seeing which now fans are going insane.

Therefore, now, as it looks, Teofimo Lopez records a surgery on both of his hands – the arsenals he strongly relies upon while fighting. One may ask, but why a video of him jumping ropes? Probably, it is because Lopez wants his fans to know how well his arms have healed.
