It has become a constant struggle for Jake Paul to prove himself as a ‘professional boxer’ in front of boxing fans. And the whole situation has intensified more after his recent loss against Tommy Fury. Ever since Paul started boxing, he’s been criticized by fans for his choice of opponents. As many of them claimed that Paul keeps ducking when it comes to fighting a real boxer. So, his last match was to prove his fans wrong, but it didn’t go as expected. And now he has to face more criticism as one time he fought a boxer, he was handed the first loss of his career.
Now many fans also gave him credit for going the distance with a professional boxer. They even stated that Paul showed tremendous skills against the young Fury in the match that happened on Feb 26. So, there are mixed reactions from fans to Jake Paul’s boxing abilities.
However, one has to commend Jake Paul’s attitude after his loss against Fury. He took the defeat on his chin and showed the world that he is not going to quit boxing anytime soon. The moment he lost, he was thinking about the rematch between him and Tommy Fury.

This was a great display of determination on his part. Later, he even apologized to American rapper and musician Drake as he said, “I’m gonna get That W in the rematch”. Moreover recently, he posted a video on Instagram where he made fun of himself for losing after calling himself a ‘professional boxer’.

Jake Paul took the loss in a positive manner, and recently made fun of his own claims of being a ‘professional boxer’. So, in the Instagram video, he could be seen packing up FedEx delivery boxes, and hence the term, ‘boxer’. A clever pun on the word ‘boxer’, indeed!
