On the 20th of May, on the undercard of Devin Haney vs. Vasyl Lomachenko, Floyd Diaz will lock horns with Luis Fernando Saavedra inside the boxing ring. While this would be Diaz’s ninth professional appearance in boxing, Saavedra will fight his 18th professional fight. Both the boxers have made the required weight for the contest and weigh in at 119¾ lbs.
Ahead of the showdown, at the final face-off, Floyd ‘Cashflow’ Diaz pulled an unprecedented and embarrassing stunt in his attempt to make a statement. The 19-year-old boxer from Las Vegas, according to many, displayed his immense ‘lack of maturity and respect for the sport’ as he pulled down his pants in front of the spectators. Having done so, the unbeaten boxer exhibited his underwear which conveyed a displeasing message to those present at the venue.

Undoubtedly, it is a huge moment in his career that he is going to fight on the undercard of Vasyl Lomachenko and Devin Haney. However, Floyd Diaz did become the center of attraction for all the wrong reasons. After his face-off with Saavedra, before walking away, he stripped down his pants and exposed his underwear while everyone else looked at him perplexed. While his actions may have made others uncomfortable, Floyd Diaz was smiling and remained prideful.

The fighter, on stage, unabashedly displayed his underwear which read, “KISS MY A**“. To add to the surprise, Diaz acted as if he triumphed over something and left the stage laughing. Going by his professional record, one would see that he has won three of his fights via knockout in the ring. Among others, he has so far fought the likes of Edgar Joe Cortes, Juan Hernandez Martinez, and Pedro Salome.
