Floyd Mayweather Bought Gervonta Davis $60,000 Car and Jewelry Even Before Getting Signed

Gervonta Davis is only a few days away from defending his WBA title against Rolando Romero. Davis, who is undefeated since he began his professional career in 2013, will head toward his 27th bout this Saturday.

Davis joined Floyd Mayweather back in 2015 and here he is today. Under Mayweather and his team’s guidance, Davis has significantly grown as an athlete. However, nothing lasts forever and similarly, the relationship between Mayweather and Davis gradually edges toward a halt.

It is news that after the ‘Rolly’ Romero fight, ‘Tank’ will see himself exit Mayweather Promotions and begin a new journey. But before fans see that, Vlad TV released a video on YouTube that witnesses Davis talk about his relationship with ‘Money’ way before the latter signed him.

“I asked was what Floyd for the whole summer before I signed with him. You know before I even, you know, signed anything on paper, he already bought cars, he bought me jewelry and things like that.”

“Yeah, I was already out with him, living the life, riding on boats and like that. He bought me watches, jewelry, like cars, $60,000 car,” he added.

With Mayweather Promotions beside him, Gervonta Davis took part in and won more than a dozen of fights. His first title shot came on January 14, 2017, against Jose Pedraza. Tank won that fight via TKO in Round 7 of 12. Coincidentally, that fight had also taken place in Barclays Center, Brooklyn where Davis will fight his last for TMT this coming Saturday.
