Floyd Mayweather Jr. has other monikers, but the one that has become indistinguishable from his lifestyle and identity is ‘The Money’. Though he started raking in the moolah from 1998 onwards, his take-home purse money witnessed a manifold increase effectively from 2005. While a fight in the century’s first decade, such as the one against Oscar De la Hoya in 2007 and Ricky Hatton in 2008, fetched between $20 – $30 million. The beginning of the last decade saw him receiving $40 million against Victor Ortiz Jr. Two years later, for the first of his mega-fights, against Canelo Alvarez in 2013, he took home $75 million.

But the fights against Manny Pacquiao in 2015 and the last professional fight against Conor McGregor turned heads. For no time in the sport’s history has anyone heard of a boxer receiving amounts to the tune of $250 million and $300 million! When totaled, Mayweather Jr.’s career paycheck touched a staggering $1.2 billion. Heeding the proverb that “money begets money,” Mayweather Jr. reportedly has made quite a few investments in real estate.

Speaking of which, one of the ways he loves rewarding himself is by adorning his wrists with elegant watches worth a king’s ransom.

Lux Imperial, which joined YouTube in 2021 and boasts nearly 7k subscribers, uploaded a five-minute video titled, “Floyd Mayweather’s Rolex Watch Collection | Floyd leaves Rolex Dealer with ex-girlfriend after fight.

It starts with Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s accomplishments and gradually anchored over his flashy lifestyle, including a dazzling watch collection. The worth of Mayweather Jr.’s watch collection is estimated to be around $20 – $30 million. Presumably, he would have a good stock of Rolex watches. Hence, a review of a few models took place in the video.

It starts with ‘Rolex Submariner’. Reportedly the former champion shelled $342,000 to the piece. The Submariner’s 40 mm case is crafted with 18k white gold and adorned with a baguette emerald and diamond bezel. Diamonds decorate the pave bezel, and emeralds dish up the indexes.

The following Rolex watch picked for review was the ‘Rolex Sky-Dweller’. Though not as pricey as the Submariner, Mayweather still paid $115,000 for the luxury model. It comes with a forty-two-millimeter champagne dial. Featuring a diamond-studded oyster bracelet, 18-karat gold crafts this piece.

The collective price of the models picked in the video may sound attractive. It hovers in the vicinity of the half-a-million dollars! But, of course, not to mention the crowning jewel of Floyd Mayweather’s watch collection is the $18 million watch, which goes by the name, “The Billionaire’s watch”. Made by high-end jewelry makers Jacob & Co, the watch is adorned by two hundred and thirty-nine baguette diamonds, each up to three karats in weight.
