Floyd Mayweather expresses his love for Star Wars
This won’t be the first time when Floyd Mayweather was trying to throw some subtle indication of his love for the Star Wars franchise. Before this, back in 2020, the Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation made a Facebook Post about the Chewbacca actor, Joonas Suotamo, sharing his training routine for the role. The account shared an article from Men’s Health about Suotamo in their post. And now Floyd Mayweather goes on to share another picture about one of his favorite series.
In his latest Instagram Story, Floyd Mayweather wore his DSG’s Run jacket and shorts with Bo Jackson’s Nike Air Trainer SC High “Auburn” shining on his feet. And with this amazing attire, he posed with style in front of the army of Stormtroopers, the famous fictional army of soldiers from the Star Wars franchise. This picture definitely became a matter of discussion among the huge fanbase of Star Wars. Additionally, Mayweather himself has been in some of the movies of his time.
Well, the relationship between Mayweather and Star Wars may not just end here, as there is a probability the famous Star Wars actor may be up for playing Mayweather in his future biopic.
Star Wars actor could play Mayweather in a future movie
Well, according to Forbes‘ author, Brian Mazique, the famous Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker actor, John Boyega, should be the best pick for playing Floyd Mayweather in a movie about his life. As he thinks he’s a talented actor and will be able to easily pick up the speech patterns and mannerisms of Floyd Mayweather.

Now it’s obvious that there is no striking resemblance between the two entities, but still, there are other physical traits that fall under the acceptable category. Mazique gave a great example of Denzel Washington‘s performance in the movie, Malcolm X to explain how less resemblance actually matters when it comes to playing a real-life role in a movie.
