Four-Weight Division World Champ Welcomes a Fight Against Jake Paul, Logan Paul, and KSI but Only for Charity

Following his defeat to Sandor Martin, former four-division world champion Mikey Garcia hung his gloves. Later, speaking with Boxing Social, Garcia confirmed that he was not planning to return to the ring. In his opinion, he had a good career and it was time he moved on from the sport. While Mikey stated he was happy, his elder brother Robert Garcia emphasized that his brother had achieved everything he could in boxing.

Likewise, in an interview with ESPN, Robert Garcia reiterated that it was time for his younger brother to enjoy life and spend time with his loved ones and family. However, one must mention that although Mikey retired from the sport, he continued his training. And even though he does not plan to return to pro boxing, the 35-year-old recently expressed that he could fight again for one reason only.

According to Mikey Garcia, only a noble cause can again inspire him to wear his gloves and step inside the boxing ring. Likewise, when reporter Elie Seckbach asked Garcia if he would ever take part in influencer boxing, the former unified Lightweight champion looked forward to doing charity. “Would you ever do influencer boxing? Would you ever fight KSI, Jake Paul, or Logan Paul?” asked Seckbach. Here’s what Garcia said.

For charity,” answered the former four-weight division champ. In this context, the 35-year-old even announced that he would donate his whole purse if need be. Observing Garcia was open to fighting YouTubers who interest broadcasters as per Eddie Hearn, Seckbach asked, “You would donate your whole purse?” To which, Garcia replied that he would if it amounts to helping people in need. “If it’s a fundraiser, children’s hospital, cancer research, things like that, I’d definitely do it,” Garcia declared. At this, Seckbach further asked what Garcia would do if he made $10 million from a fight. “If it’s 10 million, you would donate the whole 10 million?” questioned Seckbach. To which Garcia said, “Yeah“.
