After witnessing Deontay Wilder’s staggering loss at the hands of Tyson Fury, many feel that the third edition of their fight will end similarly. Dominic Breazeale has gone a step further and claimed that Wilder won’t make it to seven rounds this time around.

The FOX analyst would be left unsurprised if Fury were to take Wilder down within 3 rounds. The Gypsy King took Wilder down in the second edition of their fight, by forcing his cornermen to throw in the towel.

After Wilder exercised his right to a rematch, Fury is looking to take him on again on October 3rd in an undisclosed location.

‘Trouble’, in a recent episode of the PBC Podcast shares his thoughts on Fury vs Wilder 1. “I was actually there in person for the Wilder-Fury 1. And I thought Fury did enough to win that fight, as far as the boxing side of things. It was unfortunate that he got dropped the way he did.”

“But, I mean, fight number two, he showed sheer boxing skill and overall just strength and ability. I think that come fight number three, it’s gonna be the same outcome. And if not, Fury might even actually stop Wilder a little sooner in the fight.” said Breazeale

Despite looking forward to unifying the heavyweight division, Fury admits that handing Wilder back-to-back losses will give him pleasure.

“I’ll be obliged to give him a bit more. You never get bored of beating Deontay Wilder, obviously. It’s one of those things you take great pride out of doing. I really did what I said I was going to do.” said Fury.

How Dominic Breazeale Fared Against Deontay Wilder

Breazeale himself has shared the ring with Wilder. However, he did not perform as well as Fury against the American. Wilder managed to knock Breazeale out in the first round itself in May 2019.

A crushing right hand sent Breazeale to the canvas just two-minutes into their scheduled 12-round fight.

“We all know he has that big right hand, everything that he bases off. He’s done a great job thus far in his career just getting as far as he has with that one big punch. But I think Fury’s crafty enough and skilled enough to avoid the right hand, as he did in the last fight and put on his own punishment.” said Dominic Breazeale, hoping to enforce a gameplan similar to that of Fury but failing miserably.
