WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis claimed that he is far superior to unified champion Teofimo Lopez when it comes to footwork and boxing skills.
Touting a fight between them, Lopez and Davis have already lashed out at each other frequently. While Lopez desired to square off against Davis after his sensational win against Vasyl Lomachenko, ‘Tank’ Davis has offered something similar in a recent interview.
However, Davis will primarily defend his WBA lightweight belt against Leo Santa Cruz and try to win the WBA super featherweight title. After that, if Lopez remains in the 135 lbs division, ‘Tank’ Davis wants to dance with him inside the ring.
