Floyd Mayweather Jr., following his UK debut and ahead of Plant vs. Benavidez, accused Canelo Alvarez of ducking ‘Red Flag’. Although Mayweather branded Alvarez as a “hell of a fighter”, he personally felt the ‘Cinnamon’ deliberately avoided Benavidez. In a strong declaration, Floyd Mayweather announced his willingness to see Benavidez square off against Alvarez in boxing.

In what he called his personal opinion, ‘TBE’ implied it was time Alvarez came face to face with Benavidez inside the ring and proved his mettle.
