“Growing Up, on Paper, Jake Was a Failure” Logan Paul Sheds Light on How Boxing His Brother, Jake Paul’s Life

Hailing from Northeast Ohio, the two brothers, Logan Paul, and Jake Paul, made a name for themselves in the world of the internet. At first, Logan Paul paved the way for their career on social media, starting with Vine and then progressing to Youtube, garnering 20 million subscribers. Although, Jake Paul followed the same path, after some time he took a break from creating content and started working on his boxing career. Now, he’s fighting at one of the biggest stages in the world and soon will be exchanging blows against the former UFC fighter, Nate Diaz.

After going against KSI‘s younger brother, Deji, in 2018, Jake Paul had an awakening of sorts which made him dedicate his life to boxing. So, he drifted away from his online persona and started organizing events, and currently owns his promotional banner, Most Valuable Promotions. Also, he’s recently signed a deal with an MMA league, PFL, as well. Well, seeing his brother achieving such feats, Logan Paul recently gave his opinions about his brother’s rise.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Logan Paul solely talked about Jake Paul from an elder brother’s perspective. He shed light on his initial stages of success, and how he found his passion for the sport, and his seriousness regarding the sweet science. So, amid all these topics, the interviewer asked his opinion on how Jake Paul talks about boxing as “it saved his life”.

The WWE star went on to explain how Jake Paul was used to being a failure his whole life. He said, “Growing up, on paper, Jake was a failure.” Then he talked about some of the highlights of his earlier life. He added, “High school dropout. To go to L.A. to do different media, 1.7 GPA, in the wrong crew in high school, breaking the law, stealing iPhones, committing petty crimes. An on-paper failure.

But then ‘Maverick’ stated that the moment he found boxing, he could channel everything that made him a delinquent into something useful. And finally, he found something that “he loves to do.

Although he’s happy for his brother, there’s an aspect of Jake’s career that may hurt Logan. That is Jake’s dispute with KSI, mainly because the older Paul brother is a business partner of the British Youtuber now.

In the same interview, the reporter asked the Impaulsive host about his feelings regarding the Jake Paul and KSI fight. As he’s got a good relationship with KSI too, now that they’re business partners in the PRIME energy drink together. Logan revealed he’s definitely “not looking forward to it”. He stated that their feud is quite real and it scares him.

He also expressed that he’s talked to KSI in advance, that if the fight takes place, he’ll be in his brother’s corner and support his blood. But he doesn’t want to see that fight willingly. He said, “Hopefully they make up afterwards and can once and for all figure out who is the best at this sport, but I rue this day, Chris. I rue the day.

So, Logan has always been on the same page regarding the fight between his brother and his business partner. Although once, ‘Maverick’ has stated that KSI makes him hate his younger brother.
